La Dodgers And New York Yankees History Of Rivalry

There have always been rival teams ever since the beginning of sports event and the teams have always been an opponent for dominance and championship. In baseball, there’s two such teams: the LA Dodgers and the New York Yankees. The competition involving these teams is so popular and recognized. These teams have played against each other in just about all the leagues including the American league, the National league and the World Series. This competition started off long ago; since when the dodgers competed in Brooklyn as the Brooklyn Dodgers. Even after the Dodgers changed their base to LA, the vying for top still continued and is particularly still seen today.

This competition started in 1941 when the two teams competed against each other in the World Series. In the fourth game, the LA Dodgers then catcher Mickey Owens broke a curveball that was thrown during the 9th inning by Hugh Casey. The competition between the two teams resulted in a third strike

The greatest fans on Earth live in New York. Whether it’s the Mets or the Yankees, the Giants or the Jets, the word passionate doesn’t even begin to describe New Yorkers when it comes to supporting the local teams. If you own a bar or are opening a bar in New York and don’t have satellite TV, fuggedaboutit!

Satellite provides access to more New York sporting events than any other service out there. Even if your bar isn’t necessarily a “sports bar,” people are going to expect to see the game on your TV on game night. And in a city with so many sports teams, it’s almost always game night. Count them up: the Jets, the Giants, the Mets, the Yankees, the Knicks and the Rangers. Also within the metro area are: the Islanders, the Devils and the Nets. New York Conquers Solar in High Rises

Kips Bay Towers in New York City isn’t a house, but it is home to about 4,000 people living in two residential high-rise buildings, each with 20 floors and about 1,120 units. Pei, the building utilizes cast-in-place exposed concrete and offers a three-acre garden, playground, basketball courts and all the other amenities of a first-class apartment building. Now it also offers a 54.28 kilowatt DC solar photovoltaic (PV) system, the largest residential solar system in the city of New York or – as far as this writer could determine – in the entire United States.

The solar array, designed and installed by Solar Energy Systems, LLC, was fortunate in

MLB Tickets ? Surprise Starters

We sit 50-plus games into the 2010 MLB season, and while guys like Roy Halladay and Tim Lincecum are mowing down opposing batters as usual, there have been a number of starting pitchers that have surpassed expectations to this point.  Let’s take a look at the starters currently outperforming preseason expectations:
